I was reminded of a God encounter where Hagar is running away from her circumstances and into the wilderness:
She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me. ” Genesis 16:13
An angel of the Lord met Hagar in the midst of her distress and reminded her in her running away that her God sees her. We’re also reminded that our God hears our cry, he meets us where we’re at and he answers us in the middle of our suffering. He sees our desperation, hurt, pain, but our all-seeing God meets us with his compassion and love, with comfort to take us to the next step on the journey.
He’s there for you today. He sees you, loves you, cares for you and longs for you to see him too.
