Distractions come our way every day. We all get distracted at one point or another. Being distracted is when something or someone takes our attention and prevents us from concentrating or doing the ‘main thing’ at hand. Jesus stayed focused and with every interruption or distraction Jesus knew how to discern and choose what was “best” over what may be considered “good”. This week if you find yourself with so many things vying for your attention, ask yourself the question: “Is what I’m about to do helping me stick to the ‘main thing’ or is it going to distract me from accomplishing it?”
“But first seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33.
