Hi Northside family,
Last week we were reminded “we’re not a Church unless we act like one”. It’s the doing that makes the difference.
James says in James 2:15-17…
15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
To Love God and Love others is to:
A. Love God with such priority and passion He is the first thing we think of when we wake up
B. Love Others: We meet the needs of those “in our path” so concretely, we will need to explain our faith to people in order for them to make sense of our actions
Now for all of us this is a work in progress…
Here are 5 practical areas you could be experimenting with in the coming months.
Hope to see you Sunday as we kick off a new series, “Meanwhile”.
