With only six sleeps until Christmas Day, we are well and truly in the festive season here at Northside. We had a fantastic Christmas dinner last weekend and next week we celebrate Christmas with two special services:
Christmas Eve 6:30pm – our big family-friendly event which includes carols, performances, drama and involvement from the kids.
Christmas Day 9am – our opportunity to celebrate together the birth of Christ as we come together to hear God’s word preached, sing some carols and much more.
Both services are for the whole family and we encourage you to be thinking of who you can invite this year. Perhaps a friend, colleague, neighbour or family member? This is a wonderful opportunity to invite others along to accessible and inspirational services. Who might be in your life that you can invite?
Our Creative Ministry has worked hard throughout 2016 to bless our church, with dozens of individuals (many unseen behind the scenes) spending hundreds of hours this year to assist with technical & production roles, music, drama and other creative elements. There have been very long days and nights to deliver events like Easter, Global Leadership Summit and Christmas, just to name a few.
This is my opportunity to thank the hard working Worship and Creative Arts team, on behalf of all the ministry team, elders and congregation, for blessing us all in such a wonderful way.
Finally, I want to wish each and every one of you a safe and happy Christmas & New Year. May you be encouraged as you reflect on the gift we have all received – the gift that keeps on giving. Merry Christmas!
