Che cos’è Be Rich?
Be Rich è semplice. Doniamo, serviamo e amiamo chi vive proprio fuori dalla nostra porta. Questa primavera sosteniamo cinque organizzazioni locali che già fanno il lavoro duro e buono nei nostri quartieri, con i nostri soldi e con le nostre mani.
Per ora, il modo per partecipare è donare. Sostieni il lavoro delle nostre tre organizzazioni partner, con un’offerta singola o mensile. Non serve far parte di Northside per unirti a noi.
Raccomanda loro di fare del bene, di arricchirsi di opere buone, di essere generosi e pronti a condividere.
La tua offerta sostiene il lavoro di tre organizzazioni che si prendono cura di donne e bambini in difficoltà e di sopravvissuti alla schiavitù moderna, qui vicino a noi. Una volta sola o ogni mese, per quello che puoi.

Non stiamo inventando niente di nuovo. Sosteniamo chi fa questo lavoro da anni, qui sul North Shore e oltre.
Refuge and support for women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
Mary’s House runs a refuge with secure accommodation for up to four women and their children at a time, and a Community Programs Centre, where specialist social workers walk alongside women as they rebuild safe, independent lives. It is primarily community funded.

Crisis accommodation and support for women experiencing domestic violence and homelessness.
HKWS offers women crisis accommodation for up to three months, with personal case management and help with health, legal, education and employment. In 2025 it provided 1,584 bed nights, and $300 provides two nights of secure accommodation.

Life-long recovery for survivors of modern slavery in Australia.
Australia’s only long-term, wraparound care provider for survivors of modern slavery, through its trauma-informed Survivor School and employment pathways. It receives no government funding; its work is made possible by donors and its own social enterprises.

Support for vulnerable and homeless young people aged 12 to 24, and their families.
Since 1976 Taldumande has supported young people in crisis across Greater Sydney, with over 70 children and young people in residence on any given night. On Serve Sunday we will be rolling up our sleeves on practical projects at their sites.

Hope and support for prisoners, former prisoners and their families.
For 45 years Prison Fellowship has shared the hope of Jesus with prisoners and their families, through visits, chaplaincy, in-prison programs, post-release support and Angel Tree Christmas gifts for prisoners’ children. Serve Sunday teams will help prepare and pack for the season ahead.
