Grateful Reflections//

When Abi and I first came to Northside we were teenagers who had moved down from Tweed Heads for university. I had only been a Christian for five months when I walked into Northside and experienced a real genuine love and community here. Fast forward six years and being a part of this family has taught us so much. From the experiences we have had being able to have serve here, to the friendships and encouragement from the people we have met. We have learnt so much about life, God, faith and community. This place has really nurtured us and allowed us to grow deeply in our faith.

We have loved every part of being involved in Northside Youth and serving our young people. Nothing beats witnessing the transformative power of Jesus at work as someone grows up in their faith. Over the years we have been so encouraged by our youth and God has taught us so much from watching them mature and become more like Christ. For us it’s been an absolute privilege serving alongside our amazing youth team and we look forward to hearing reports from them about how our youth have gone from strength to strength.

It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye. We are eternally grateful for everything Northside has done for us. We will miss this family and special place we have called home. Our deep love for you all compels us to pray as Paul did in Philippians. “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
