This term at Northside Youth the theme for our leaders has been Prayer. Our heart has been to have an increased desire to pray for each other and our young people. We seek to change the way we live and think by changingthe way we pray. Colossians 4:2 says “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
I believe if we spend more time praying we will see God work powerfully in our lives and those around us. Our heart is to see each young person at Northside Youth prayed for. We would you love to see you personally pray for one of our young people. Our youth experience so much temptation in their lives, so much distraction and we need them to be covered daily in prayer.
So do you have a heart to pray? Would like to come alongside one of our youth as a spiritual parent and pray that they would grow up strong in the Lord? We want to see the next generation following Jesus so whole heartedly that through them God could change the world.
Every first and third Sunday morning of the month a group meet upstairs at 11am to pray for this church, this city and the world. A different group also meet before the evening service at 5pm to pray for God to move powerfully in this place. So if you have a heart to pray and want to partner with us as we seek to put God’s Kingdom agenda first, please join with us.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
